Have an Eggxtraordinary Easter
Easter holidays will soon be here!! The sun shining, A long weekend off work, kids off school, lots of chocolate eating, getting together with family and friends. Bet you can`t wait!!………. In reality it will probably be cold and drizzly (typical British bank holiday weather…sorry!!) your choccy munching kids will be going stir crazy or complaining that their “bored” and you`ll be frantically running around preparing for your family and friends to visit. And don`t even think about getting your hands on their Easter eggs!!
What to do?? Why not make some Easter treats and get the kids helping in the kitchen, baking these fabulous Easter cookies using our Letter Pressed Cookie Cutter and Stamper Set – Bakeware with attitude!!
This 28 piece set includes all 26 letters of the alphabet aswell as “!” and the “&” sign, so you and the kids can make truly unique and personalised Easter cookies. Who says learning the alphabet is boring!!
Make a batch of your favourite cookie / biscuit dough. We love this delicious Lemon and Poppy Seed Cookie Recipe by Martha Stewart and mixed it all up in a splendid Hope and Greenwood Mixing Bowl with a handy spout.
Roll out your dough. We used the non-stick Tescoma Stainless steel rolling pin as it keeps the dough cool. Then using the desired letter from the set, cut out the cookie from the dough.
Then simply flip the cookie cutter over and use as a stamper to stamp the letter into the dough. Make sure to use even pressure to get a good indentation. Place your letters on a baking sheet and bake at 180C for approximately 10 minutes.
Mmmm! A yummy Easter treat!!
Kids are happy, your happy and your family and friends are sure to be happy with these scrumptious cookies. Say what you want, when you want – The Letter Pressed Set is such a versatile kitchen accessory, as it can be used for any occasion : Birthdays, Anniversaries, Valentines and really is the perfect gift for kids learning the alphabet, a budding baker or for any cheeky grown ups eager to spell out silly words via the medium of cookies….THEY SHALL EAT THEIR WORDS!
